Bucko Deposit: Mineralogy of a High Tenor Nickel Deposit

Abstract The Bucko Deposit located in the southern portion of the Thompson Nickel Belt, Manitoba is one of the highest nickel tenor deposits in the world. Recent work on conducted by Crowflight Minerals and its partner Falconbridge Ltd. has advanced knowledge concerning the characterization of the mineralogy of the deposit. Findings of this work and its implications to nickel exploration in the belt will be discussed.
