An Inspector Just Arrived at Your Facility. Are you prepared?

CIM Vancouver 2002
Abstract Modern-day government inspectors are now being trained to identify violations and conduct multi-media inspections for both environmental, health, and safety compliance simultaneously. Are you prepared? In this presentation, Michael R. Brown, Vice President of Environmental Affairs for Graymont, will provide you with practical steps and concepts that will help you to be better prepared when the inspector knocks on your facility’s door.

Mr. Brown has over 15 years of environmental and safety compliance experience working in both the petroleum and mining industry. Mr. Brown’s years of experience participating in inspections, and working with agency inspectors has lead to the development of a successful internal auditing, compliance, and training program for Graymont. These programs have given Graymont’s employees the skills and confidence necessary to deal successfully with government inspectors who come to their facilities.

This paper is designed to be informative for all levels of corporate management as well as plant supervision and employees, and provides the audience with practical tools that they can immediately take back and implement at their facilities.
