Event Detail

The Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act is now in force, and with it new mandatory reporting requirements for organizations in the extractive sector.

Entities captured by the Act must comply as of their next financial year; failure to do so could result in significant sanctions. If you advise or act for organizations in the oil and gas or mining industries, it is essential for you to be up to date on these new requirements.

Chaired by Osgoode Certificate in Mining Law co-director Eden Oliver, this practical one day program will help you understand Canada’s new resource revenue transparency regime and arm you with the best practices and strategies for complying with the Act’s requirements.
