The CNIA hosts a various metal-specific conferences across China every year, typically with audiences ranging from 300-900. The Canadian Institute of Metallurgy is delighted to collaborate with the China-Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association in developing a combined program. This will enable CIM members to participate in conference which draws together key players in the Chinese copper industry. CNIA will lead off the conference with a full day technical program on October 29th supported by the CIM and CIM will follow October 30th with a half day program (see below) supported by the CNIA. A field trip to Yunnan Copper’s smelter may be arranged on the afternoon of Oct 30th. Oct 28th is devoted to registration and networking.
Domestic registrants will pay RMB3000 and foreign registrants will pay US$1000 for the entire program including the site visit, the going international rate for such a conference. Interpretation will be provided throughout. Antaike, the conference organizer for the China Non-Ferrous Industry Association, will be responsible for registration and payments.
