Our event is recognized as a leading forum on 3D earth modelling for the mining industry. Like last year's event, the first day will be focussed on technological developments. The second day we will host a symposium on advanced quantitative data integration. The full program includes case studies, technical presentations, keynote speakers, “speed geeking”, workshops, short courses, social events and opportunities for networking.
Participants will share experience and best practice with leading industry, academic, and technology-development practitioners. This event will provide an exceptional opportunity to exchange knowledge and perspectives on 3D earth modelling technology and business value.
We anticipate, and welcome, the participation of practitioners from all geoscientific disciplines who work with, or make decisions based on, 3D models in the mining industry.
Each year we want to offer a variety of talks and discussions about real life applications of 3D earth modelling in exploration and mining industry. We are looking for people who use modelling software for mineral exploration or geotechnical applications. Submission deadline: September 21, 2013
What we are looking for: We invite geologists, geophysicists, geochemists and engineers to come and show us what they made using modelling software and explain how they did it or what they have learned from the process.
